Art Camp with Ms. Russell offers a fun and engaging summer art camp for middle to rising high school students (ages 11-14). Join me for a variety of activities including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and photography. This camp caters to students of all skill levels, providing a supportive and inspiring environment for artistic exploration.

Session 1: June 15-19, 2026
Pop Art Snacks and Sweets: Transform everyday treats into bold masterpieces by exploring the vibrant colors, sharp outlines, and iconic Pop Art made famous by legends like Andy Warhol and Wayne Thiebaud.
Session 2: June 22-26, 2026
Messy Madness: A high-energy, sensory-driven experience where we ditch the brushes and trade "neat and tidy" for "bold and splattered," allowing campers to explore the wilder side of contemporary art.
About the Artist
Hi there! My name is Ms. Katy Russell, and I am excited to start my second year of Summer Art Camp!
I graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education and continued my education at Winthrop University with a Master's in Art Administration. Throughout my career I have had the chance to teach, work in art galleries, and manage a science museum before coming back to teach 6th and 7th grade at HMS and 9th through 12th grade at WHHS. I also have recently started logo mural paintings for local business. Check them out on Instagram @mkrcollective_
